Hackl joins coaching staff of Ice Dogs

More front office changes for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

The hockey club has announced that Ben Borton, who was the assistant coach and assistant GM has resigned.

This comes one day after head coach and general manager Kurt Walsten stepped down.

The Ice Dogs are starting to rebuild their coaching staff.

Former Kenora Thistle and Ice Dog Ben Hackl has been announced as an assistant coach.

This past season, Hackl was an assistant coach with the Winnipeg Freeze of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
