Lake of the Woods District Hospital has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 in one of it’s units.
Hospital staff are investigating the outbreak in the 2-E unit.
As a result, mandatory masking requirements have been put in place in all inpatient unit and the emergency department.
Visitor restrictions have also been put in place in the affected unit.
The restrictions will remain in place until further notice and affect all hallways and corridors.
