Identity of Dryden woman released

The OPP says it’s Criminal Investigations Branch continues to look into a fatality in Dryden last week.

The body of a 42 year woman was found last Wednesday morning in a Duke Street residence.

A post-mortem was conducted in Toronto to confirm her identity as Michelle Bannon.

The cause of death has not been released but provincial police do not believe their is any risk to public safety.

The OPP’s Northwest Crime Unit, Regional Support Team and Forensic Identification Services is helping out with the investigation.
