Impaired driver charged in collision near Falcon Lake

A 40-year-old woman has been charged in connection to a collision on Highway #1 near Falcon Lake.

On Monday evening shortly before 6 pm, a pick-up truck collided with an SUV near Falcon Creek Road.

The RCMP say the westbound SUV crossed over the centerline and crashed into the eastbound pick-up.

The 68-year-old driver of the truck was airlifted to hospital in Winnipeg with serious injuries.

The other driver, was taken by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries and released.

She has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm.
