The Northwestern Health Unit has declared an influenza outbreak at the Pinecrest Home for the Aged over.
It was declared last month in Unit 4.
Meanwhile, the outbreak in Unit 2, which was initially classified as an unknown respiratory illness has been identified as Covid-19 and officials with the facility say that outbreak and the protocols associated with it remain in place.
At this time only two essential caregivers are allowed to visit at one time in the affected unit.
