Another detour in the Lakeside area.
The City of Kenora says the area of 8th Street South and 8th Avenue south, near the site of the new senior’s apartment complex, will be closed for the next two days.
Work on the water main in the area will start this morning at 7 am.
Work is expected to wrap up by tomorrow afternoon.
Meanwhile, the lefthand turning lane at the intersection of Veteran’s Drive and 9th Street North remains closed.
Repairs to the road surface are expected to be complete later today.
