KBI disqualifies weight for ‘unsportsmanlike’ conduct

One of the teams involved in the Kenora Bass International has had it’s day 3 weight disqualified.

This comes after the KBI board received several complaints about the team.

In talking to complainants and the team involved, it was determined their actions were unsportsmanlike.

It stems from the usuage of a camera crew in another boat.

The team was clearly seen communicating with the boat as it had a live scope deployed.

The KBI board says while it’s likely this took place on the first and second days of the tournament, they had no evidence to corrobate this.

The team, which has not been identified, was in the top ten, but dropped out of the prize money after day #3 weight was not included.
