The Kenora District Services Board is expected to pass it’s 2025 budget this week.
The draft calls for a 5.5 percent increase over last year or $116 million.
It says the increases are due to land ambulance service and the cost of maintaining their housing stock.
The board of the KDSB will meet on Wednesday for further budget discussions.
