Kenora high school sending students home due to power issue

The St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Kenora is closing because of a power issue.

Grade 7 and 8 students are being sent to École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys while Grades 9 to 12 are being sent to St. John Paul II School.

Parents can pick up their kids at the designated schools while students with vehicles are allowed to head home.

Buses will take other students home and arrangements are being made.

The school will not be able to take phone calls at the office and parents are asked to contact their child directly.

Grades 7–8 students: École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys, at (807) 468-6618
Grades 9–12 students: St. John Paul II School, at (807) 467-8910
