Kenora OPP execute a drug bust in the Minto area

A drug bust in the Minto area of Kenora.

Around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon the Kenora OPP along with the Treaty Three Police Service executed a search warrant at a residence on Minto Crescent.

In additional to the seizure of methamphetamine and dilaudid, police located other items associated with drug trafficking as well as a set of brass knuckles.

Two residents of Kenora, a 30 year old man and a 35 year old woman were arrested.

The face a couple of charges for drug trafficking, possession of a prohited device for a dangerous purpose as well as two charges each of failing to comply with a release order.

They are being held in custody pending a future court date in Kenora.
