The City of Kenora is looking at a tax increase of about 3.74 percent.
A draft of the 2026 budget was presented to city council last week.
Overall, spending is just up just over $1.2 million compared to last year.
The biggest increase was for OPP services at 770 thousand dollars more.
The proposed tax hike is less than half of last year’s budget increase of 8.12 percent.
Overall, the city will spend about $35.4 million.
