The Kenora Citizen’s Properity Trust Fund is starting to rebound nicely.
It lost a million dollars at one point in 2024, but the fund now stands at just over $50 million.
The KMTS Prosperity Trust was established in 2008 after the sale of Kenora’s telephone utility to Bell Aliant.
At the time, it was worth $40.8 million.
There is now $50.3 million dollars in the Trust through five different accounts and grew almost $3.5 million in the past year.
