Lake Morning Show: Road closure, A Day to Listen, Super Bowl

If you’re wondering what’s closed this week: starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, roads will be down to one lane on Second Street South at the intersection of Fourth Avenue South, and the sidewalk at the crosswalk will be closed. Traffic control will be set up on the westbound lane of Second Street South, which will be closed on and off throughout the day.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: A Day to Listen 2025

Between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Acadia Broadcasting will join hundreds of radio stations across Canada to amplify Indigenous voices.

This year’s theme is The Path Here, The Path Ahead. It’s a day to listen to stories and interviews with Indigenous community leaders, artists, experts and more.

If you want to tune in, make sure to turn up 89.5 The Lake or Q104 tomorrow.

Bad Bunny headlining Super Bowl 60 halftime show

Three-time Grammy winner and one of the most-streamed artists in the world, Bad Bunny, is headlining at the Super Bowl 60 halftime show this February in Santa Clara, California.

Last February, Kendrick Lamar headlined the show with special guest Serena Williams for a viral “Not Like Us” performance. SZA joined in to perform “luther” and “All the Stars.”
