Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
It wasn’t a long weekend, but it definitely was a packed one. It was the Rally for Children’s Mental weekend with the community gala on Friday and the hockey game on Saturday. It was a great family event to bring to the kids to, as they had lots of fun cheering on the Winnipeg Jets alumni, along with the OPP and Treaty Three Police team.
Also happening: Reddit’s 3rd annual Halloween Haunt and the Kenora Fall Festival, which featured pumpkin decorating, music, local vendors and food for the kiddos.
I went to the hockey game on Saturday, and it was my first time attending one in quite a while. On Sunday, I took it easy. I caught up on some reading, watched Crazy, Stupid, Love for the millionth time and got some much-needed sleep.
And this coming weekend, there are even more events to look forward to!
