Legendary April Wine frontman passes away

A tragic loss in Canadian music.

The iconic Myles Goodwyn of April Wine has passed away at age 75.

He was the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the band, which formed in 1969.

On December 20, 2022, it was announced via Goodwyn’s website he would be retiring from touring with April Wine due to diabetes and poor health.

Some of their smash hits include “Just Between You and Me”, “Tonight is a Wonderful Time” and “You Could Have Been a Lady”.

April Wine has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
