The A&W restaurant in Kenora is once again the top fundraiser for Burgers to Beat MS.
It raised $41,823.65 during the August 17th fundraiser.
That’s more than a thousand dollars over what was raised last year.
The local A&W restaurant had several fundraisers for MS, including $2 from every Teen Burger sold, it held a walk for MS, encouraged rounding up purchases and had a personal donations page on the MS Canada Web donation page.
This is the fourth year in a row the local A&W was the top restaurant for Burgers to MS.
The company recently announced $1.6 million was donated through this campaign.
