McKay resigns as NAPS board chair

The Nishnawbe Aski Police Board has a new chairperson.

Jason Batise takes over from Frank McKay on an interim basis.

McKay has tendered his resignation after he was suspended by the board for a Code of Conduct violation.

He’s been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Batise was vice-chair of the board.
