Post-tropical storm Milton now well east of Florida

More than 2 and a half million people are still without power after a category 3 hurricane hit Florida’s west coast.

Milton landed near Sarasota late Wednesday and drove through the state, causing catastrophic damages.

According to the New York Times, at least 12 people are dead.

The storm destroyed homes and tore apart the roof of the Tropicana Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Milton is now a post-tropical storm and moving well east of Florida and will continue over the ocean tomorrow.
