Mpox has been declared a global public health emergency, for the second time in two years.
The World Health Organization (WHO) says it comes following an outbreak in parts of Africa.
WHO director general Dr. Tedro Gheybreyesus says the decision comes after a meeting with the emergency committee and the spread of the virus is something that should concern us all.

Monkeypox can spread through close physical contact with someone who has symptoms.
