NAN raising more concerns about TBPS

The Nishnawbe Aski Nation is holding a press conference this morning raising concerns about investigations carried out by the Thunder Bay Police Service.

NAN says there have been longstanding misconduct and systematic failures.

That includes three breaches resulting in criminal charges against the former chief of the Thunder Bay Police Sylvie Hauth.

The press conference will include several First Nation leaders and families, who NAN says suffered the consequences of the police services negligence.
