NAPS continues to crack down on drugs

The Nishnawbe Aski Police continue to crack down on the people trying to bring drugs onto northern First Nations through the community airport.

The most recent incident took place on the Wunnumin Lake First Nation.

Police were notified about an incident last Wednesday night at the airport.

A woman flying into the community tried to bring in crack cocaine.

The 32-year-old from Wunnumin Lake has been charged with drug trafficking.

She was released with conditions following a bail hearing and has a future court date.
