More Canadians facing financial issues, according to survey

More Canadians are worrying about their finances.

A new survey from Narrative Research says more people have at least one major concern.

Three years ago that was about 73 per cent of Canadians, but it has grown to about 79 per cent.

Saving for retirement is the biggest worry, followed by affording healthy food and then housing.

Nearly 4 in 10 Atlantic Canadians stress about electricity bills.

And 36 per cent of people 55 and older say they don’t have any financial concerns.

The survey collected information from 1,230 people from July 9 to 10.
