Ontario’s New Democrats are looking to make the most of the summer break at the Ontario legislature.
Leader Marit Stiles is travelling the province as part of her All in For Ontario Tour.
Stiles recently visited Thunder Bay and plans to make more stops in northwestern Ontario over the coming weeks.
“We see this as an opportunity to get out and bring politics to the people, to actually get out, interact with people, listen to the issues that are out there, but also the ideas,” Stiles told our newsroom.
Stiles added that her party is looking to build the movement needed to push back against the tariff threat and to build Ontario.
“We have, across this province, a crisis in health care, a crisis in education,” she said.
MPPs are scheduled to return to the legislature on Oct. 20.
