The newest childcare space in the Kenora District is ready to begin construction.
It’s located in Sioux Narrows at the public school.
The Kenora District Services Board says when complete, it will create 15 new child care spaces.
That includes infants under the age of 18 months and children up to age 6.
The new facility will also offer a new 13 space kindergarten program that will offer before and after-school options.
The KDSB is working with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board on the project.
The ground-breaking ceremony will take place on Tuesday.
