A new service is now available at Lake of the Woods District Hospital for toddlers.
A clinic for feeding and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients has been launched.
This is a joint effort between FIREFLY and the hospital.
The hospital has purchased a new digital low dose fluoroscopy unit that has pediatric settings that can be used for the clinic.
FIREFLY’s Complex Feeding and Swallowing team is working the hospital’s speech language pathologist, occupational therapists, and dieticians to provide the service.
