Nominations open for Kenora business awards

The Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce wants you to start thinking of good service you’ve had from a local business recently.

The annual Business Awards will be taking place in January and the chamber has opened up nominations.

This year there will be 12 awards handed out.

This year you can nominate a person, organization or local business in:

Business Improvement, Innovative Small Business, New Business, Tourism/Hospitality, Customer Service (up to 10 employees), Customer Service (over 10 employees), Indigenous Business, Youth Entrepreneur (30 years old and under), Entrepreneur, Business Owner, Manager of the year, Inclusive Employer Excellence, Community Spirit, and Skilled Trade Excellence.

The chamber says if you sending in a nomination, provide as much detail as you can for the judges.

No date for the Business Awards has been set, but it will take place in January.
