The Northwest Angle #33 First Nation is getting funding from the provincial government to help build a new playground.
Just over $173,000 is coming from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund.
The playground will include a basketball court.
Currently, there are no other playgrounds in the community and the aim of this project is to increase outdoor recreation opportunities for children.
