NorWOSSA Nordic championships go ahead

Despite mild temperatures, the NorWOSSA ski championships were still held on Wednesday.

Students from Ignace and Red Lake took top spot in all the races.

Nash Parsons from Ignace took first place in the junior boys competition while Gavin Berube also from Ignace won gold in the senior boys.

First place in the girls events belonged to Red Lake District High School.

Sadie Wood won the junior girls divison, while Kieran Faulds was first in the senior girls division.

Liam Chantigny from the Golden Learning Center took first place in the grade 7/8 boys division, while London Wood, also from the Golden Learning Center took gold in the girls 7/8 division.
