The OPP has a heavy police presence on the Redditt Road near Jack Lake.
Police say there is a serious and on-going investigation.
Officers were called around 12:30 this afternoon to a home just off Highway 658.
The OPP responded with the Emergency Response team and a K-9 unit.
Initially the highway was closed, but police have been escorting vehicles through the area.
An eyewitness says police have taken a man into custody.
