OPP searching for 23-year-old Kenora man after assault

A 23-year-old Kenora man is wanted by police after an assault in Dryden.

The Dryden OPP says on September 25, officers and Northwest EMS paramedics responded to a report of an assault at an unidentified location at 10:23 a.m., and found one individual with serious injuries. They were later transported to the hospital for treatment.

Following an investigation, the OPP has issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Brenden Fisher of Kenora. He is facing charges of aggravated assault, and robbery with a weapon. The OPP note they do believe this is an isolated incident.

Police say if you see Fisher, do not approach and please call 911. The OPP did not provide a description of the suspect.
