OPP seized $500K in drugs, cash, & drug-related items

A sizable drug bust for OPP in Fort Frances.

Unspecified quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, fentanyl, and morphine were discovered Wednesday night by OPP in a home on Osborne Street.

A vehicle was also searched.

Cash and items related to drug trafficking totalling about $30,000 were found along with the drugs.

Police estimate the total value of the drugs, cash, and other items to be over half a million dollars.

A 30-year-old from East York and a 33-year-old from Fort Frances were arrested.

Both are facing five counts of drug trafficking.

The person from East York was also charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime and obstructing a peace officer.

Both made court appearances on Thursday.
