Police arrest bicyclist on drug charges

The Dryden OPP say they have arrested on person following a drug bust earlier this week.

On Wednesday afternoon around 3:00, police say they stopped a bicycle on King Street.

As a result of their investigation, officers were able to seize a quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine.

A 49 year old man face three charges, including two for drug trafficking and one for possession of property obtained by crime under 5 thousand dollars.

He’s been remanded into custody at the Kenora Jail with a future court date to answer the charges.
