Police seize more than $270,000 of drugs, arrest two

Ontario Provincial Police have seized more than $270,000 worth of drugs and arrested two after a traffic stop.

Police say it happened on Highway 11 in Greenstone around noon on Sept. 16.

Investigators noticed a strong smell and then searched the vehicle.

They found large quantities of drugs, including meth, cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone and morphine.

Police say the drugs were heading to rural communities in the Northwestern region.

A 21-year-old from Toronto and a 20-year-old from East York will appear in court later.
