Police Board reconvenes this afternoon

The Kenora Police Service Board is meeting for the first time in almost seven months.

The newly expanded board was unable to meet because insurance issues had to be ironed out first.

New legislation for Police Service Boards came into effect on April 1st.

The new board will have two members from the public, two members from city council and two provincial appointees.

The Police Board will hold its inaugural meeting in council chambers at 3 pm this afternoon.
