A snowmobile collision has left a man with serious injuries.
Late Sunday morning officers with both the Ontario Provincial Police, Treaty Three Police Service as well as paramedics with Northwest – EMS were dispatched to Shoal Lake 39 after receiving reports of a male being involved in a collision on the ice.
With assistance from the community the male victim was transferred to paramedics for care.
The male is in stable condition and the investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
