Police seek owner of AED


Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora are looking to return an Automated External Defibrillator to its rightful owner.

Officers discovered the device while on foot patrol in the downtown core Sunday.

AED’s are used to help those who go into sudden cardiac arrest and delivers an electric shock to the heart when it detects an abnormal rhythm.

Units can cost anywhere from $1200 to $2000.
