Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has been diagnosed with cancer.
In a video released on social media, the princess says she underwent major abdominal surgery in January.
She says the surgery was successful, but the operation found cancer had been present.
The princess says she’s now in the early stages of chemotherapy, and she is feeling well and getting stronger everyday.
The news follows a February announcement from King Charles III of his own cancer diagnosis.
