Lake of the Woods District Hospital says it’s making progress on creating a new suite for it’s MRI.
Construction work to create the addition began at the beginning of the year.
Last month, concrete removal took place and earlier this month a concrete truck was on site to pour a new slab for the MRI.
The MRI is expected to be up and running by the fall.
The new suite will be located in the diagnostic imaging department, on the south side of the hospital.
April is the final month of the Beyond the Scan campaign and the Lake of the Woods Hospital Foundation.
