Public washrooms closing up for winter

The City of Kenora is advising residents that seasonal washrooms will be closing for the season soon.

Locations in parks will close Monday, Oct. 6, while locations at ballfields will close Monday, Oct. 13.

The water will also be shut off at the dog park.

The closure dates will give city workers time to winterize the facilities and ensure they’re ready to reopen in the spring.

Washroom facilities are available at the self-cleaning washroom on Chipman Street. That’s open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
