Red Lake and Sioux Lookout both only have one candidate signed up to run for mayor.
Incumbants Fred Mota in Red Lake and Doug Lawrance in Sioux Lookout both have filed their nomination papers.
In Sioux Lookout there are six people running so far for six seats on the town council.
In Red Lake, there are just two people signed up to run for the four seats on council.
Incumbents Jamie Kristoff and Janet Hager have file nomination papers.
The deadline to file is this Friday at 2 pm.
