A major intersection in downtown Kenora will be closed starting today.
The section of 1st Avenue South and 4th Street South, just in front of the Safeway is being shut down.
The City of Kenora says because crews will be repairing a watermain.
The area will be closed to traffic starting at 8:30 am and the closure will continue overnight until the repairs are finished.
Detour signs have been posted.
