Saints girls’ soccer team claims OFSAA antique bronze medal

The St. Thomas Aquinas girls’ soccer team had their best ever finish at the All-Ontario “A” championships in Norwood.

The Saints took home an antique bronze medal, after losing the bronze medal game on Saturday,1-0 to Erin District High School, just northwest of Brampton.

Earlier in the day, TA lost a 3-2 decision to the eventual gold medal winning team, Holy Cross Catholic High School from Kingston.

The Saints finished first in their pool, and didn’t surrender a goal in the round-robin.
