Santa Claus Parade Saturday evening

Just in time for the Santa Claus Parade, the cold weather has arrived.

Chad Gropp from the Kenora Kinsman Club says the parade will take place on Saturday, with a few new prizes to give out.

“If you’re new to the parade for the first time, we’ve introduced a “new float prize” as well as a “first responders prize” as well as a “best school prize,” explains Gropp.

Gropp says this year will be one of the longest Santa Claus Parades ever.

“It’s going to be a long one this year. Guaranteed 38 floats booked in. Now some of them might not show up that day, which is just fine.”

The Santa Claus Parade will start at 5:30 from the Kenora Curling Club on Saturday evening.
