Another new market for professional women’s hockey.
The PWHL announced a team will begin play in Seattle next season.
They will be the eighth team in the league, joining Vancouver as an expansion franchise.
Seattle will share the Climate Pledge Arena with the NHL’s Kraken.
That makes four Canadian teams and four American teams in the league, which began play last year.
