Kenora will be closing 1st Street South from 7th to 8th Avenue South for the next few weeks for storm system upgrades
Beginning on Tuesday, the site will be worked on from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, with completion of the upgrade project expected in mid-May.
Locals will still be able to access the Kenora Curling Club, and residents of the street will be able to reach their own properties.
Those travelling along 1st Street will have to take a detour up to Park Street in order to get around the road work.
