You will have to find an alternate route if you travel along Wharf Street in Kenora.
Part of the road and the Keewatin Wharf will be closed for construction starting at 7 a.m., Saturday, October 25.
The road will remain closed throughout upcoming repairs to the Portage Bay Bridge.
The city says workers will begin staging for the bridge work, which includes removing and replacing corroded steel to keep the bridge safe.
You are asked to follow detour signs and use alternative routes.
