SIJHL final begins this weekend

The SIJHL finals start this weekend in Dryden.

The Ice Dogs host the Kam River Fighting Walleye in the first two games Saturday and Sunday Night at Memorial Arena.

Dryden beat the Red Lake Miners in the semifinals to advance, while the Walleye got by the Thunder Bay North Stars in the other semi.

The series moves to Thunder Bay for games three and four next Wednesday and Thursday.

The winner will win the Bill Salonen Cup and represent the league at the Centennial Cup in BC next month.
