The victim of a serious assault in Sioux Lookout has passed away.
The OPP say they were contacted about the assault on August 22nd on Millar Crescent.
Police say he had life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
34-year-old Tyrone Lawrence Kakepetum of Sioux Lookout died from his injuries this past Friday.
A post-mortem has been conducted and the OPP say their investigation continues.
