The forest fire hazard in the region is starting to creep up.
It’s still listed as low to moderate, but there are pockets of high in the Fort Frances area.
There was just one new forest fire reported yesterday.
Sioux Lookout fire #1 is a 3.2 hectare blaze located west of Highway 599 near Ace Lake.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says the blaze is currently being held.
