Sioux Lookout looking for feedback on public boat launches

Sioux Lookout is looking for some input on the future of its boat launches.

They have launched a survey to give residents an opportunity to provide feedback.

“Your feedback is essential to ensure that these facilities meet the needs of the community and those who enjoy the many lakes and waterways Sioux Lookout has to offer,” said the municipality in a release.

The survey opened on Friday and it will remain open until October 2.

The survey will focus on things like access, safety, and amenities at the nine municipally operated boat launches.

The results of this survey will be used to prioritize upgrades moving forward.

“We are committed to improving the quality of our recreational facilities, and public input is a vital part of that process,” said the Manager of Recreation and Culture Meredith Culham. “We encourage everyone who uses the boat launches to share their thoughts by October 2.”
